Audi S8 2013 Review - Spesification
Audi S8 is built by the North American market in mind: 30 percent of the total production is sold here. But if the car is engineered for this market or for the autobahn? After two days behind the wheel, it seems that the answer is both.
The new Audi A8 is a giant, which means the S8, although it is only available with a short wheelbase, also great. An aluminum-intensive body structure and helps keep the weight to about 4400 pounds, slightly heavier than the Jaguar XJ Supersport but 600 or more pounds lighter than the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG For the first two generations, the S8 is an executive car touring.
This one has a different feel. More refined chassis tuning partly because ordinary A8, with sport and comfort suspension settings individually, is quite competent, and rigid tuning can only go so far before this great sport luxury car too hard. Therefore, this new Audi S8, which launched in Europe next spring and in late summer or early fall of 2012 in North America, is all about machines.
